Zen of Bossy
Zen of Bossy is a boutique consultancy specialising in content and copywriting but also offering services in marketing, project management, sponsorship and communications. Founder and Chief Do-er at Zen of Bossy, Liane Morris, has a background in arts and media marketing across a wide range of organisations. Liane can write just about anything but has a passion for the arts, health and cooking, happiness theories, travel, feminism, leadership and parenting.
Liane has embraced the term ‘bossy’ because she is a do-er, she will motivate, support and inspire, give you the copy and content you need and leave you feeling very zen! She can be the extra pair of experienced hands your team needs.
Zen of Bossy has adopted the image of Lakshmi, the Hindu goddess of prosperity and grace, to represent a balanced approach to work and life that will reap rewards both spiritual and material. She also has many hands and lots of energy to ‘get stuff done’.
Liane has worked as a senior marketing manager and coached and mentored marketing teams throughout her career at organisations as diverse as University of NSW, Sydney Symphony and Lifeline Australia. She has worked in global companies such as Time Inc. Magazines as Consumer Marketing Manager across all titles (Who Weekly, Sports Illustrated, Time, InStyle), government owned organisations such as ABC Classic FM and regional cultural facilities such as Canberra Glassworks (2012 winner in category of the ACT Tourism Awards) and Riverside Theatres in Western Sydney.
Liane is a communications specialist who brings this expertise to every aspect of her life with an emphasis on team, personal balance and passion for what you do. Recent years have seen her hone her writing skills and she regularly provides blogs and digital content for a number of clients.
A proud Novacastrian, Liane loves living on the coast just 1 ½ hours from the big smoke, growing amazing little human beings and writing for pleasure and for her clients. Her passion project is writing children's fiction. She currently has 2 picture books and a middle grade chapter book that she hopes to find a publisher for one day soon!
